Remain Ministries
Remain Ministries exists to support Ministers, Missionaries, and workers for the Gospel.
The concept of Remain is simple; a refuge for the Church as a whole to refresh, renew, restore, and refocus. Our vision is to offer a place of quiet reflection, where God’s people can boldly return to Biblical truth and renew their understanding of God’s promises. Wherever you are with the Lord, there’s space for you to remain here.
Through acres of space and gracious accommodations, those who find themselves in need of rest are welcome at The Refuge. Situated in the heart of historic Hannibal, Missouri, The Refuge is a three-story building boasting ample rooms, kitchens, rest and recreation spaces as well as conference/training venues and reconnection spots. Short term visits are perfect for ministry-related trainings, retreats, or conferences. Longer-term visits are ideal for sabbaticals, furloughed missionaries, pre- or post- field transitioning missionaries, or other ministry housing needs. No matter why you come, we pray that you find Remain Ministries is a place where you belong.
Meet the Craig Family
Sharing our journey to help you on yours
Ben and Megan Craig, founders of Remain Ministries, served cross culturally as missionaries in the Pretoria/Hammanskraal area of South Africa for over two years. They were called to work alongside indigenous house parents and care for orphaned and vulnerable children. While there was much joy serving in South Africa, there were many sorrows and trials, and the Craigs returned bruised and broken to the States in need of rest, renewal, and restoration. As they sought refuge in the healing arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, God birthed the idea for Remain Ministries. Born out of pain and brokenness, but fueled by a renewal of life, restoration of soul, and revival of heart, Remain Ministries was founded in 2020 to serve as a safe refuge for others.

Statement of Faith
At Remain Ministries We Believe
We believe the Bible, Old Testament and New, to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus is the son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe that God offers eternal life as a free give and that it must be received through faith alone through God's grace alone
We believe the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of believers on mission to enlarge God's kingdom
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
